From 1 April 2026, more people across the South West can now get protected against RSV, a common virus that can cause serious illness in babies and older adults.
The RSV vaccination is now available for free on the NHS for adults aged 75 and over, people living in care homes for older adults, and pregnant women. A single dose offers strong protection, helping to reduce the risk of severe breathing problems and hospital admissions.
