Give a little warmth

Stay warm with free energy saving advice

Healthy Homes Dorset offers Dorset Council and BCP Council residents free energy advice, keeping you and your home warmer and making it cheaper to heat in the long term.

Living in a cold home impacts your physical and mental health and can lead to many illnesses, especially if you are older or have medical conditions. If you can, it’s important to heat the rooms you use most in your home to at least 18°C to stay warm and well and reduce the risk of getting ill.

We know many people will be under financial pressure when considering heating their homes this winter as the cost of living rises. If you are worried about heating your home, or know someone who would benefit from free energy saving advice, help is available through Healthy Homes Dorset.

For more information visit Healthy Homes Dorset or call freephone 0300 003 7023.

Pension Credit

Pension Credit is extra financial help to assist with living costs if you are of State Pension age (66+) and on a low income. It can help with general housing costs and bills and give you extra support that you are entitled to.
